Zara Saydjari received her Master’s Degree in criminal justice/homeland security from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in December 2014. While in graduate school Zara served as a case intake coordinator for a large personal injury and worker’s compensation law firm in Colorado, held an internship with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender in Colorado Springs, and worked as a human trafficking research assistant. Her research interests and graduate thesis focused on cybersecurity policy as it relates to the protection of critical infrastructure. Zara is a research specialist who performs background investigations, asset searches, witness location and helps with the organization and analysis of discovery in criminal matters.

Zara is also our Spanish speaking investigator. Zara has a bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Zara studied abroad for six weeks in Spain where she was completely immersed in the Spanish language. After graduating, Zara also spent 15 months as a bilingual healthcare assistant and in this position she frequently translated conversations between patient and physician.
